BQ Watches is a leading trader of used luxury watches from brands such as Rolex, Cartier, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet. We have over 30 years’ experience in the industry and operate out of our showroom in Radlett, Hertfordshire.
Due to recent rapid growth, we have opportunities for watchmakers and watch technicians in both senior and junior positions. These are full-time positions, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm. Salary is competitive but related to experience, and there is the opportunity for paid overtime.

Our watchmakers work primarily with our own stock, but we also offer customer watch servicing and repair. Duties include:
•Authentication of luxury timepieces
•Adding and removing links
•Fitting replacement batteries in quartz watches
•Examining and assessing work required in automatic watches
•De-casing automatic watches
•Servicing and repairing automatic watch movements
•Casing-up automatic watches, and placing on test
•Sourcing and fitting parts
Candidates need not have practical experience, but some level of qualification would be preferred. In addition, you will be expected to perform with a high degree of accuracy and care. On-site training will be provided, as well as attendance courses and distance learning with the BHI.
