SUMMARY
Repairs or replaces quartz, and multi-function movements by performing the following functions:
Performs minor and major repairs, reconditioning, making adjustments to watches and their appearance components and movements using watchmaker tools, including but not limited to case opener, presses, vices, screwdrivers, tweezers, pin pushers, eye loupe and also cleaning, buffing, electronic multi-tester and water testing equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Opens and closes all types of watches to change watch batteries and perform replacement of minor components, such as crystals and crowns, which require opening of the case.
•Replacement, repair, adjustment and, sizing of bands and band parts, such as pins, links, clasps.
•Replaces, repairs, adjusts and reconditions cases, crystals, stems, crowns, gaskets and other appearance watch components.
•Replaces and repairs quartz-based movements, including Eco Drive: two and three hands, day and date, and multi-function.
•Tests water resistance of water-resistant models using special equipment.
•Cleans watches using ultrasonic cleaner machine, brushes and other means with water and soaps.
•May also test voltage, ohms, power consumption and accuracy of movements using electronic equipment prior to returning watch to customer.
•Updates data of repair performed using computer system to track repair work.
•Maintains productivity and quality of repair standards requirements as set by Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED); four to ten years related experience and/or training on the field of watch repair; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Experience repairing quartz watches.

•Excellent eye sight and good hand/eye coordination and attention to detail is critical
