Tag Heuer announced its new generation smartwatch, the new Connected Modular 45 timepiece, co-developed with Google and Intel. The watch uses an Intel SoC (System on Chip) and runs on Google’s Android Wear 2.0. It will be offered with many customization options. Interestingly, the Connected Modular 45 casing can house a mechanical movement and transform into a regular timepiece. The 2015 first gen Tag Heuer was considered a success by its developers and brought many improvements to their  latest second-gen iteration.

Each watch consists of three modules, the watch module, the lugs, and the strap, which a user can customize to his choice. Each module is made of grade 5 titanium with a sand-blasted satin- finish. The watch features all the premium specs and manages to last 25 hours after a charge. The starting price of the smartwatch is at $1650 all the way up to $7000 for the diamond studded variant. It also offers a Deluxe Box Set with a chronograph Heuer-02T tourbillon mechanical module for a total price of $17,000.
