Vacancy for Bench Jeweler (Bend, OR)

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• 2 years working in-house with a jewelry brand as a bench jeweler
• Experience working in sterling silver and gold fill
• Exceptional communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Incredibly organized and responsible
• Positive attitude with the desire to collaborate within a team of jewelers
• Self-motivated, and eager to learn and share knowledge
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment where collaboration, trust, communication and positivity is critical
• Passion for creating a product and making it the best it can be

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use metal and materials to create jewelry for direct-to-consumer jewelry brand
• Work with internal design team to create prototypes and samples for new development
• Work independently, using provided tools and provided materials to produce multiple units of individual styles of jewelry (i.e. make-to-stock units in batches)
• Balance speed of work with quality goals
