Bench Jeweler/Goldsmith
Jewelers Touch is a family owned business located in North Orange County, California specializing in custom designed jewelry, engagement rings, wedding bands, fine & fashion jewelry, and time pieces. Our store opened in 1992 and we employ a team of GIA Graduate Gemologists, Accredited Jewelry Professionals, Certified Diamontologists and skilled Goldsmiths to offer you an educated, fun, and relaxed atmosphere.
We are seeking a full-time Bench Jeweler to join our team of goldsmiths. Ideally, the position requires basic to intermediate knowledge & skills to perform all facets of jewelry and watch repairs. Changing watch batteries and watch bands, cleaning and polishing jewelry, investing & casting, prong rebuilding & various styles of stone setting, using traditional and modern methods. Laser repair a plus (not mandatory). This position requires the ability to maintain productivity with quality of work that meets Jewelers Touch standards while balancing teamwork and individual responsibilities.
. Responsibilities:
•Complete work according to detailed instructions and meet estimated deadlines.
•Perform “while you wait” work.
•Read and follow detailed instructions.
•Work independently or as part of a team.
•Adheres to organizations policies and procedures.
•Uphold Jewelers Touch standards of quality on all work.
•Uphold proper safety procedures using chemicals and equipment.
•Perform assigned areas of responsibility as defined by management.
•Maintain tools and supplies.

Qualifications:
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
•3-5 years experience
•Basic computer and organizational skills
