Our team is expanding! Newton’s Jewelers has been in the jewelry business since 1914. We are a small, family-owned and operated jewelry store in southwest Missouri looking to grow our team. We are looking for a full-time bench jeweler. The Bench Jeweler is primarily responsible for sizing, repairing, polishing, and cleaning. This position requires an eye for detail. Compensation and benefits are competitive and based on experience. Opportunity for Growth within the business!
Qualifications
•Knowledge of jeweler’s tools, machinery, and equipment
•Ability to work in a team environment, and interact closely with team members
•Experience in jewelry repairs and stone settings
•Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
•Size and repair jewelry, set stones
•Inspect pieces for quality
•Perform quality control checks
•Additional responsibilities as assigned
