Established in 1990, Fultons Lakes Jewellery Works has an experienced team of designers and makers of fine jewellery to the trade and public and is headed by Brian Fulton who is a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths and is a member of The Goldsmiths’ Company.

Fultons is one of only a few jewellers in the UK that offer a complete in-house service with all design, casting, setting and polishing carried out in a clean modern, state-of-the-art workshop.

Job description

We have a vacancy for an experienced Jeweller and diamond mounter / setter to join our highly skilled team.

The successful applicant must be passionate about jewellery making, have a desire to excel in their craft, be self-motivated and be willing to work in a fast-paced and busy workshop to our high professional standards.

The successful applicant will be highly competent in the following areas:

– Fabricating and assembly
– Working with all precious metals
– Traditional stone setting and micro-setting methods

– Detailed polishing an advantage
– Casting experience an advantage

– Jewellery qualifications an advantage

We undertake a wide variety of mid to upper-end work to the finest calibre giving you the opportunity to develop skills in a high-level environment.

The candidate we are looking for will be used to making fine jewellery to the highest quality or be a work proven journeyman looking to improve their skills with the guidance of our highly skilled workforce.

We are based in Keswick – a bustling market town nestled in the beautiful Lake District World Heritage site – surrounded by breath-taking scenery and a plethora of outdoor activities on the doorstep, making the area a great place to work and play.
