Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Jeweller to join our team. The Repair Jeweller will be responsible for assessing and repairing jewelry items, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, precision, and artistic flair to restore jewelry pieces to their original beauty. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of various gemstones and metals, as well as proficiency in a range of jewelry repair techniques.

Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of damaged or worn jewelry items to identify repair needs. Accurately diagnose issues such as loose stones, broken clasps, or damaged settings.
Utilize a variety of jewelry repair techniques, including soldering, stone setting, and polishing, to restore items to their original condition.
Expertly set and secure gemstones in various types of jewellery, ensuring a secure and aesthetically pleasing finish.
Proficiently perform soldering and metalwork to repair broken or damaged components of jewelry items, maintaining the integrity of the original design.
Execute precision polishing and finishing techniques to enhance the overall appearance of repaired jewelry items, ensuring a seamless blend with the original craftsmanship.
Conduct thorough quality control checks on repaired items to guarantee that they meet the established standards of excellence in both craftsmanship and aesthetics.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair options, provide estimates, and answer any questions related to the repair process.
Maintain detailed records of repair work, including before-and-after photos, item descriptions, and any special customer instructions.
Collaborate with other team members, including designers and sales associates, to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow within the jewelry department.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, especially when working with potentially hazardous materials and equipment.
Requirements:
Proven experience in jewelry repair with a strong understanding of various metals and gemstones.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Artistic flair and creativity to maintain the aesthetic integrity of each piece during the repair process.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
