Our company is looking to hire a part-time jewelry assembler/bench jeweler apprentice to recreate current designs in mass production as well as aid in the design of new jewelry pieces.
We are looking for someone with a high attention to detail and experience working with smaller pieces; able to quickly adapt and take instructions well. Must be proficient in wire wrapping, familiar with hand fabricating bezel & prong settings and finishing (sanding/polishing). Must be familiar with using metals such as sterling silver and gold-fill. This will be an opportunity to gain more experience and to expand your skills as a jeweler.
Experience with wax carving or pave setting is a plus.
Must also be able to travel to North Hollywood.
We are looking for someone to work with us at least 6 months to a year and expand with the company as it continues to grow. Starting pay is between $15-20/hr depending on experience.
