We are a startup online jewelry brand located in Downtown Miami, FL that is looking for a Master Jeweler to join our team. PLEASE NOTE THAT EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!

We are an online direct to consumer line that does all jewelry manufacturing in-house as well as jewelry repair.

Ideal candidate:

•Expert in all types of stone setting, channel and bezel setting, ring sizing, jewelry repair, soldering, prong re-tipping, hollow chain repair, fabrication, laser welding.
•Must be proficient in working with Silver, Gold and Platinum.
•Must have five or more years of Jeweler experience.
•Holidays and Weekends off.
•Must be extremely organized, dependable and demonstrate great attention to detail.
•Staff members are expected to present a professional, businesslike image at all times.
•Must possess effective communication skills, exhibit honesty, integrity, and fairness, work well in a team environment, demonstrate professionalism with clients and staff members and have a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

•Following defined procedures/guidelines to perform job; complete tasks through application of detailed procedural knowledge
•Performing jewelry maintenance and repair as well as custom designs and manufacturing of our jewelry line.
•Using professional judgment to select the appropriate action from defined procedures/guidelines;
•Perform other duties as assigned or per business needs

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

•The ideal candidate will be an expert at sizing, soldering and prong setting in gold and platinum, gold and platinum jewelry manufacturing and casting, basic custom jewelry design and precious stone setting.
•Personal accountability: learn and improve performance; take personal responsibility for decisions, actions & outcomes
•Decision quality/Problem solving: the ability to identify issues; know how to escalate an issue or to ask for guidance
•Analytical skills: learn to apply analytical thinking and deductive reasoning to daily work; ability to learn to articulate the issues/reasoning to reach the initial evaluation of diamonds
•Ability to use gemological equipment (microscope and loupe) to evaluate the diamond, and hand-held tools (tweezers, stone holder) to manipulate diamonds
•Ability to read, comprehend and follow standard procedures or instruction (proficiency in reading, writing and speaking in English required)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour
