Job Description:
Applicant should be capable of performing a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
-Fabricate and repair jewelry articles, such as rings, broaches, pendants, bracelets, and lockets.
-Cut, file, solder, and polish articles using hand tools and polishing wheel.
-Create jewelry from scratch using precious and semi-precious gems and metals.
-Skilled in laser engraving and soldering.
-Experience with building molds from metal or wax that will produce new jewelry products.
-All types of stone setting.
EDUCATION: Vocation or technical school or more than 20 years experience in similar position. Preference will be given to industry certified candidate.
EXPERIENCE: Ten or more years in a similar position with a Master Jeweler skill level.
SKILLS: Excellent organizational skills and attentions to details. Ability to critically evaluate incoming work and self-inspect quality of completed work. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and security of work area and contents. Must be professional and discreet.
JOB HOURS: Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Time subject to change for peek season, etc.
