Storied and successful retailer of fine jewelry, is seeking a Master Jeweler to support the uncompromising service and experience our clientele has come to expect. Our design work has been featured on The Bachelor and we have a global presence in the pre-owned and vintage Rolex market and are fine watch repair experts.
Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of fine jewelry repair experience, complimented by laser welding and watch polishing. Preference will be given to those candidates that have demonstrated success with jewelry design and presicion in repairs. Our jeweler will create in a state-of-the-art work shop with the following list of duties and more that arise in day-to-day business:
•Chain and clasp repair
•Performing minor or major ring repair and other jewelry repairs
•Precious metal fabrication
•Polishing fine watches: Rolex, Cartier, etc
•Custom design and creation from counter sketch to finished product
•Strong verbal communication skills in English are preferred.
The position requires a US citizenship or legal permision to work in the US. You must live in the Miami, Florida area. The following are important requirements.
o Customer service minded individuals with a high standard for quality work
o Attention to safety, knowledge of the hazards associated with each chemical/tool/machine
o Ability to manage supply inventory, production schedules and workflow
o Ability to stay focused on projects, keep a careful eye on costs and meet deadlines
o Ability to work quickly and precisely with tools ,machines, and open flame (torch)
o Knowledge of precious metals assembly and fabrication techniques
o Graduate Jeweler Diploma (GIA) preferred
