Job Description:

As a watchmaker, you will be responsible for the meticulous assembly, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of timepieces. This role requires a keen eye for detail, expert knowledge of horological techniques, and a passion for preserving the heritage of watchmaking.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on mechanical, quartz, and automatic watches.
Disassemble, clean, lubricate, and reassemble watch movements with precision and care.
Diagnose technical issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
Conduct water resistance testing and ensure watches meet quality standards.
Replace watch components such as crystals, hands, crowns, and straps as needed.
Perform intricate adjustments to regulate timekeeping accuracy.
Document all work performed and maintain detailed records of repairs.
Provide excellent customer service, including communicating repair estimates and timelines.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence.

Requirements:

WOSTEP, BHI or equivalent qualification in watchmaking.
Proven experience as a watchmaker, working on multi brand (Essential).
Proficiency in repairing and servicing a variety of watch brands and models.
In-depth understanding of horological principles, including movement types, complications, and assembly techniques.
Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for delicate watchmaking tasks.
Ability to use specialized tools and equipment for watch repair and maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Commitment to upholding quality standards and delivering superior craftsmanship.
