FULL TIME/ PERMANENT – BASED IN JEWELLERY QUARTER WORKSHOP
SALARY: COMPETATIVE / NEGOTIABLE (DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE)
Mitchel & Co. are proud to be a family business, manufacturing fine jewellery in our own Birmingham workshops since 2011. Working with precious metals and predominantly diamonds, we create some of the finest independent jewellery the UK has to offer, by making bespoke commissions and pieces for our large showroom here in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter.
With a well established customer base, and therefore a busy production team, we are now seeking a new addition to our friendly team of craftspeople. The role of Diamond and Gemstone Setter is, of course, one of the most important features of our in-house operation, working alongside our talented team. We are open-minded as to the experience level, and will gladly consider people with lots of experience, or potentially those with a more basic setting experience – providing they have the desire to learn new techniques.
This role is ideal if you are an experienced setter looking for a new long-term workshop to settle in to, or someone with experience within a larger jewellery manufacturer – looking for a new challenge and more variety. The process will include a no pressure ‘bench test’, as well as informal interview.
