Signet Jewelers, largest specialty jewelry retailer in the US, UK and Canada is searching for creative and talented individuals who are proficient at performing jewelry repair in our central repair facility located in Akron, OH. We are seeking individuals that are highly skilled, quality oriented and motivated to produce the finest products to our customers.
Perform required repairs of damaged or defective, customer repairs and new assembly products.

Position Requirements
•High School diploma/GED required, technical training in metal programs or jewelry programs preferred.
•2-4 years of jewelry repair experience.
•Ability to complete a bench test for assessment purposes.
•Excellent organizational skills & detail oriented.
•Consistent regular scheduled attendance is an essential function of this job.

We are open Mon-Sat Apr-Sept and 7 days a week Oct-May. The store is open from 10am until 5:30 during the summer and 6:00 during winter. Jewelers are expected to stay later if needed.
•Must be proficient diamond setter
•Must be able to do at least 20 repairs a day
•Must be able to perform in high stress situations
•We can be incredibly busy, you must be able to properly do the job, estimate completion times, and communicate with sales staff
•Must be organized
•Must be okay with taking direction/orders from younger individuals
Recommendations from previous employers is required.
We have been in business for 30 years. We know what a jeweler can and cannot do. We expect our jewelers to be willing to take on a project, complete it properly, and in a timely manner. This is a long-term position, and we expect applicants to be looking for a stable job.
